Here are some comments from our most recent OFSTED report (March 2008):

'Care and support are exceptional, because the academic, social and emotional needs are known by all who work at the school.'

'Lanercost School provides a good education where children progress well and achieve standards in their work.'

'Christian values underpin the school's work. Children are extremely sensitive to each other's needs and know right from wrong. Behaviour is excellent.'

We are a popular village school of around 60 children, located in rural Cumbria (just next to the famous Lanercost Priory).

We are situated in beautiful countryside, just a couple of miles outside the market town of Brampton and close to Hadrian's Wall. Our school has three classes - Reception, Years 1-3 and Years 4-6.
Have a look at our prospectus to find out a little about our school.  You may also like to look back at our news archive or enjoy some of the children's creative work in our pupils section.
